This stool is a conceptual study that was designed as a part of a furniture design program in Copenhagen, Denmark. It juxtaposes Danish minimalism with an innovative approach to pushing the structural boundaries of plywood.
Process
Through a the design constraint of flat packing and only being able to use the thickest and thinnest material available to me, I was able to push the boundaries of plywood construction, exploring new assembly methods and structural possibilities that challenge traditional joinery and material limitations.
