OSONO GARDEN
How can the experience of listening to music communally sound and feel more exploratory to the listener?
Listening Together
Inspired by garden follies and step-sequencing synthesizers, the experience of Osono Garden is characterized by unique conglomerates of audio depending on where the listener is standing within space. Unlike traditional sound systems, each speaker in Osono Sound Garden is wired to its own audio channel, eight in total, which can play in unison or independently of one another
Site
This project is a response to the community that resides around McGolrick Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Made for children to play and for people to explore. It provides space for gathering, solo exploration or atmosphere to life in an urban park
